🚦 A big thank you to our community. 🚦
Around 60 locals came along to the Chamber’s Traffic Town Meeting, showing just how much people care about the future of Atherton. The Chamber is proud to have initiated this conversation and hopes the evening helped provide some clarity and answers around the traffic concerns affecting our town.
Our panel for the evening consisted of:
• Rod Marti, Mayor of TRC
• Greg Bowden, GM of Placemaking
• Mark Vis, Infrastructure & Environment
And a special thank you to Michael Lawrence for kindly stepping in to chair the meeting when Ghis Gallo was unable to attend. Your calm guidance helped keep the conversation constructive and productive.
We were able to work through 10 community questions, and we’ll be collating the answers and sharing them on our social media soon so everyone can stay informed.
While TMR were unable to attend, which was disappointing given the number of questions relating to state-controlled roads, they did provide a written statement which was shared on the night.
Thank you to everyone who contributed questions and attended. Conversations like this are how communities move forward together. ... See MoreSee Less
